Bunnie XO Drinks Alcohol For the First Time In Seven Years
Bunnie XO revealed to her fans that she decided to drink alcohol again after being sober for seven years.
This past week, Bunnie was in Rome, Italy, with her husband, Jelly Roll, while he’s on his European leg of his and Post Malone’s Big A** Stadium Tour.
Since they were there, the couple made the most of their time together.
Bunnie shared a video on her social media of her and her country star husband enjoying a date night out at a club, singing, dancing, and having fun with everyone around them.

One of the moments she shared in the clip was of her holding what appeared to be an alcoholic drink. It turns out, Bunnie made the big decision to have a few drinks that night.
This ended up surprising a lot of people because she has been very open about her sobriety for years. However, she cleared things up really quickly on why she chose to have a drink.
Bunnie Explains Why She Broke Her Sobriety
Bunnie has always been open about her sobriety. Last year, a fan had asked when she decided to get sober and focus on her goals. She said that in 2017, she quit hard drugs like pills and cocaine. In 2018, she cut out alcohol, too.
She added that Jelly Roll also began his own “soberish” lifestyle in 2020, but he still has a “celebratory drink” every now and then.
As for Bunnie’s choice to drink while in Rome, she explained that it was the same situation.

She defended her decision by leaving a pinned comment under her video. She said that her choice to stop drinking years ago was for her mental health, not because she considered herself an addict.
“Before anyone can say another ‘I thought you were sober’ comment. Yes I’m sober, I stopped drinking in 2018 bc my mental health couldn’t handle the hangovers the next day,” she wrote.
But when the chance came to enjoy herself with her husband on vacation, she said it was simply a moment to let loose and have fun.
“If I want to let my hair down w/ my husband and have a drink in Rome — I will,” she continued. “BEST NIGHT EVERRRRRRR.”
After her explanation, many people filled the comments with messages of support. They praised Bunnie for being honest about her choice to drink again.
“i love this…people also need to understand the difference between choosing sobriety for positive reasons and people who are in full blown recovery and most likely should not have nights out drinking,” one person wrote.
“Love this!!!! Your transparency and authenticity is unmatched!” said another.
“You deserve a great night out. You’ve earned it!!” someone else said.
