Clark’s second season in the WNBA hasn’t gotten off to the best start. Injuries and spotty shooting from beyond the arc have resulted in slightly diminished numbers for last year’s Rookie of the Year.

The shooting can be fixed, but the injuries are worrisome.

Clark, the 2024 WNBA Rookie of the Year, was ruled out of the Indiana Fever’s game against the Dallas Wings on Friday due to a left groin injury, putting a dent in the anticipated matchup against Paige Bueckers, the No. 1 overall pick in the 2025 WNBA draft.

That did not stop the fans from coming out and having those voices heard.

Inside American Airlines Center, one female fan wore a shirt directed at Caitlin Clark.

The shirt read, “Who’s Caitlin Clark, anyway? Ew.”

This marks Clark’s second consecutive game missed with a groin injury and her seventh missed game of the season after a quad injury sidelined her for five games earlier this month.

Through 15 games, the Fever have gone 7-8 and sit in fourth place in the Eastern Conference.

Caitlin Clark’s recent shooting woes continued Tuesday night in Seattle when she missed all six three-pointers she attempted and finished with only six points.

The good news for the Fever is that they still managed to win over the Storm. However, she got hurt again.

Clark went 3-of-13 shooting against Seattle. She hit just one of the 10 three-point attempts in Sunday’s loss to Las Vegas.

Unfortunately, she is now 1-for-28 from three-point land on the road this year, and in three of those away games, she missed every three-pointer she took. At home, she has hit 22 of 50 three-pointers.
