Sources close to the Ripa-Consuelos family say longtime TV host Kelly Ripa was shocked and furious after her daughter, Lola Consuelos, 23, revealed she is pregnant. What especially upset Kelly, insiders claim, is that Lola is not married and currently living in London with her British boyfriend—Cassius Kidston—who comes from a wealthy and influential sports family.
Lola and Cassius went public with their relationship in 2023 while both were students at New York University. However, a family insider reports that Kelly believes Lola is too young to have a baby and fears her daughter is being swept into a glamorous but unstable lifestyle.
“Kelly always hoped Lola would establish a solid career before starting a family,” the source said. “She’s not against Cassius personally, but this pregnancy wasn’t in anyone’s plan.”
