The 24-year-old singer-songwriter from Beaumont, Texas, has just signed with Capitol Records Nashville, joining the legendary ranks of artists like Carrie Underwood, Dierks Bentley, and Luke Bryan. “I used to write lyrics while listening to Carrie Underwood on repeat,” Nix said in a tearful interview. “Now I’m signed to the same label that launched her career. It still doesn’t feel real.”
