The Lakers appeared to be in control for most of the game, leading by as many as 18 points early in the fourth quarter. However, Giddey and his teammates refused to back down and mounted a surprising rally that ultimately left the Lakers stunned.

One of the game’s most talked-about moments involved a confrontation between Giddey and Doncic. At one point, Josh Giddey executed a pump fake when Doncic was guarding him. Luka’s facial reaction made it clear that he was unimpressed. NBA Memes shared the clip on TikTok.

However, Giddey kept his composure, confidently maneuvering past Doncic. The Bulls star delivered a crucial pass to a teammate, leading to an essential basket for the Bulls.

Giddey delivered a spectacular all-around performance, finishing the game with a triple-double. He added 25 points, 14 rebounds, and 11 assists in the win. On the other hand, Doncic contributed 25 points, 10 rebounds, and eight assists.

During the Lakers 104-98 win over the Houston Rockets, Luka Doncic had a hard fall. After the game, Luka appeared at the postgame press conference with his left elbow heavily wrapped, but he was quick to downplay the severity of the injury.

It’s terrible. It will be fine in two days,” Luka said.

While Doncic’s humor helped ease concerns, it was clear that the injury wasn’t going to slow him down. Despite the hard fall, he contributed 20 points, nine assists, six rebounds, and two steals to lead the Lakers to the win. His all-around play was crucial in the Lakers maintaining their position in the top four of the Western Conference standings, now holding a solid 46-29 record.
